This is a Spitfire LF VB, the 'clipped' wing version designed for low level activity, as flown by Sqn Ldr Geoffrey Northcott, No 402 'Canadian' Squadron. The Squadron is on a 'Rhubarb' mission hitting the coastline at cap Gris Nez, in 1941.
